Sister Joan Schwager gets a group hug from St. Mary's Elementary fifth-grade students during a surprise celebration marking her 50-year service with the Sisters of Mercy at McAuley High School on Friday. Currently, she teaches religion at St. Mary's and St. Peter's Middle School.
