Crews work on a clean up project adjacent to the Webb City water treatment facility on Friday. Under a city plan, that area will be expanded into a wetlands area named the Center Creek Valley Wetlands, where zinc deposits will be dumped and encapsulated. The city is working to purchase nearby properties for the project.
