Six-year-old Sofia Velazco uses an atlatl, to launch a large spear used for hunting at a booth sponsored by the Missouri Department of Conservation during Kid's Fishing Day on Saturday at Kellogg Lake in Carthage. The event featured information booths, activities, food and fishing - all free of charge to guests.
