Larry Fields stands inside the old Kansas Gas and Electric headquarters on North Locust Street in Pittsburg after taggers spray painted much of the historic brick inside the building. Fields hopes to close on the building in late August, but is concerned that a property he is renovating as a family event space across the street may become a target of taggers.
