The artwork of the top 10 finalists in U.S. Cellular’s Black History Month Art Contest, being held in conjunction with Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Missouri, is now on display at the U.S. Cellular store in Joplin. The creative pieces feature the image and likeliness of Jackie Robinson, Brandon Williams, Harriet Tubman, George Washington Carver, Martin Luther King Jr., President Barack Obama, Kevin Hart, Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks. Anyone 18 and older can visit the store through February 29 to vote for their favorite. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three vote-getters. The art competition is part of U.S. Cellular’s ongoing commitment to the local community.
