Bill Aber, of Jefferson City, a volunteer with Community Christian Church of Jefferson City, works on the roof of a house Monday afternoon, May 21, 2012, in the 2600 block of West 32nd Street in Joplin. The home was severely damaged during the May 22, 2011, tornado and is being repaired by the combined efforts of Americorps and a group of Christian churches.
